PA conductive compounds adjustable to your needs

One of the main strategies towards which many global manufacturers of parts are deriving for sectors such as automotive, LED lighting and electronics is the substitution of metals for polymers to reduce weight. The arrival of the electric vehicle makes it imperative to equip polymers with new functionalities such as thermal and electrical conductivity for the metal substitution.  NUREL works in the development of new materials with controlled thermal, electrical and magnetic properties. These new advanced materials can be customized according to the requirements of each application.

ELECTRICAL POLYAMIDE CONDUCTIVE COMPOUNDS

The extensive diffusion of technical polymeric materials in the industrial sector requires now, in some particular fields of application, plastic products with distinctive electrical conductivity properties.

Currently, we can offer PA6 polymers with wide range of electrical conductivity, from antistatic grades to highly conductive grades (from 10 ^ 12 Ohm to 10).

Promyde® range also offers products that combines high levels of electrical conductivity with outstanding thermal insulation. These functionalities make this range of materials an effective alternative to be use in the electrical sector.

Electrical conductive compounds are used for applications such as:

Electrostatic painting parts, very fine electronic parts or electrostatic surfaces for medical purposes.

ELECTRO MAGNETIC PROPERTIES IN POLYAMIDE 6

The latest product to be added to our range of conductive polyamides is PA6 with electromagnetic properties.

These polymers can be used to absorb electromagnetic radiation or to endow them with an electromagnetic charge.

As a substitute for metal, PA can be used for electromagnetic shielding in electric motors, electrical appliances, telephones, etc.

Electromagnetic polyamides can also be endowed with magnetic charges to be attracted or discarded by magnets. The components of the machinery in the food industry require this type of electromagnetic properties to detect and eliminate from the food chain in the event of small breakages of parts. Metals have traditionally played this role, but now these new electromagnetic charged polyamide compounds can be detected and disposed by magnets with the added impressive polyamide 6 properties such us dimensional stability, good resistance to impact without notch and an excellent chemical resistance.
